Bring back the original Miss Fisher. I was always so caught up in their last kiss that I never realized that she was wearing the brooch he gave her. 🥺❤️.

I got to srr this Saturday morning. Go ! This is so worth the wait. I hope it comes back. I lose count of her costume changes per episode. I bought myself a wonderful extra-long kimono dressing gown, shiny silk-like fabric, with a pattern of purple and brown flowers. I call it my phrynefisher and when I wear it I say Get out of the way! Phryne Fisher is coming. In the US and I cannot wait. Waste of time can't follow the plot. Love it. I love this show. The only problem I have is why they gave the role of Phryne, which is supposed to be a 28 year old woman in the books, to a 50 year old actress. Phryne is supposed to be an attractive and vivacious young lady, turning men's heads when she enters a room. Even though Essie is a great actress, she has not looked as if she was in her 20's, for a couple of decades now. It's just sad to see an old woman trying to act like a beautiful 20 year old. No amount of makeup can hide the fact that her neck looks like the skin was made from a very old man's nut sack. It spoils all the scenes where she is supposedly flirting with men, and they all fall at her feet. I mean seriously, no men will ever be seduced by a 50 year old woman. One look at that neck, and any thought of a boner is out the window faster than the excuse they will come up with, to get rid of her. There are so many beautiful young actresses that would have been perfect for the role. Why screw up the whole feel of the story, by hiring a geriatric to play the part? The rest of the cast is perfect, It's just such a shame that I involuntarily have to swallow a little sick every time she starts flirting with someone. I mean stop it! Just go home to your cats and leave roles like this to young women. Nobody believes such an old woman can still attract anything. It just spoils what could have been a fantastic series.
